Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization procedures, including left and right heart catheterizations and PCI/PTCA when indicated
- Assist with device implant/closure procedures and support IABP placement/removal
- Scrub and circulator roles during procedures; maintain sterile technique and equipment readiness
- Monitor patient status, recognize life-threatening arrhythmias, and assist with intra-procedural rhythm management
- Document procedures accurately in the EPIC charting system; ensure timely record-keeping and data entry
- Coordinate with the cath lab team and anesthesia for safe, efficient workflow; float to related labs as needed

Requirements
- NY state license in hand prior to submission
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a cath lab or equivalent setting
- Certifications: ACLS and BLS required
- EPIC charting experience is mandatory for submission
- Certification options: ARRT(R) is preferred; RCIS accepted if ARRT is not available (facility can have only one RCIS on staff due to call impact)
- Education: not specified beyond professional certifications; ability to work in a high-acuity cath lab environment
- Travel eligibility: travel assignment; non-local candidates preferred (on-call and float required)
