The CarHop position is a dynamic and customer-focused role primarily responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences directly to customers in their vehicles. This role requires the ability to efficiently take and deliver food orders while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor, ensuring customer satisfaction at every interaction. CarHops serve as the face of the establishment, providing timely service and addressing customer needs promptly, which directly impacts the reputation and success of the business. The position demands physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform frequent overhead lifting, as well as adaptability to work irregular hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Ultimately, the CarHop plays a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment that encourages repeat business and positive word-of-mouth referrals. Minimum Qualifications Ability to follow detailed directions accurately and consistently. Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues. Friendly and approachable demeanor to engage positively with customers. Physical capability to stand for long periods and perform frequent overhead lifting. Willingness to work irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience in customer service or food service roles. Basic knowledge of food preparation and safety standards. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills to interact clearly with customers and team members. Demonstrated reliability and a strong work ethic. Responsibilities Greet customers promptly and courteously upon arrival and throughout their visit. Take accurate food and beverage orders. Deliver orders efficiently while ensuring food quality and presentation standards are met. Assist with tasks as needed to support other team members during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area and equipment. Collaborate closely with team members to ensure smooth and timely service. Adhere to all safety, health, and sanitation guidelines while performing duties. Work flexible shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays to meet business needs. Skills The required skills such as following directions and teamwork are essential for ensuring that orders are taken and delivered accurately and efficiently, contributing to a seamless customer experience. A friendly demeanor and customer service skills are used daily to create positive interactions that encourage customer satisfaction and loyalty.
