Job Description:
This assignment requires a highly skilled and experienced surgical technologist with a wide level of experience in ortho, neuro, vascular, etc. Candidates that lack a full breadth of current experience will not receive consideration.
Responsibilities:
- Work 36-40 hours per week, with approximately every 2nd or 3rd weekend as a call weekend and 1-2 call shifts per week.
- Follow call requirements with a 30-minute response time.
- Participate in a possible holiday call rotation.
- Float to General OR and/or the Outpatient Surgery Center as required.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program.
- BLS required.
- CST preferred but not required.
- Excellent critical thinking and knowledge of central processing and instrumentation required.
