\nAs a Senior Licensed Psychiatric Technician, you will work under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care to psychiatric patients. Your role includes implementing and evaluating care plans, performing assigned tasks, and collaborating with the nursing and multidisciplinary team to support patient well-being.
\nSalary range: $36.34 - $47.94/Hourly
Qualifications
We’re seeking a highly-skilled, self-motivated professional with:
\n- \n
- At least 2 years experience in a psychiatric inpatient setting as a Psych Tech required \n
- California Psychiatric Technician Licensure required \n
- BLS from the ARC or AHA, required \n
- Demonstrated ability to provide individual and group activities to psychiatric patients on an acute psychiatric inpatient \n
- Knowledge of psychological functioning and deviations from normal \n
- Knowledge of growth and development throughout the life span \n
- Knowledge of techniques of therapeutic communication \n
- Knowledge of Drug administration \n
- Knowledge of management of assaultive behavior \n
- Knowledge of Evacuation, fire and disaster procedures \n
- Knowledge of HIPAA \n
