What You'll Do

• Conduct diagnostic hearing assessments (air/bone conduction, speech audiometry, impedance testing) for diverse patient populations.
• Interpret test results and discuss findings with patients and physicians.
• Recommend medical follow-up, hearing aids, ear protection, or other interventions.
• Conduct hearing aid evaluations to identify the best amplification solutions.
• Fit and program hearing aids, providing detailed instructions on operation and maintenance.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on hearing aids purchased through the office.
• Support patients through education on hearing health and device use.

What You Need

• Active Washington State Audiologist license (preferred)
• Successful completion of a master's or doctorate degree in Audiology, including practicum experience
• Certification of Clinic Competency in Audiology (AuD) for doctoral grads (preferred)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Strong communication skills and patient-centered approach
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role is based at a well-established clinic in Yakima that provides diagnostic and audiology services to diverse patient populations, from birth to seniors. The audiologist will perform a full range of hearing assessments, fit hearing aids, and support overall hearing health initiatives in a supportive clinical environment.
