Forklift Operator — Order Picker (Furniture) Location: Aurora, IL Job Type: Full-time Pay: $19 per hour Shift/Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday, 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM (1st Shift) About the Role A busy furniture distribution warehouse in Aurora, IL is hiring an experienced Order Picker/Forklift Operator to join their 1st shift team. This role operates a Raymond stand-up forklift with a flatbed attachment to pick and move furniture orders throughout the warehouse. What You'll Do Operate a Raymond forklift with flatbed attachment to pick furniture orders Safely navigate warehouse aisles and racking to fulfill orders accurately Load and stage picked orders for shipping Perform pre-shift equipment inspections Follow all warehouse safety protocols What We're Looking For Prior forklift/order picker experience required Experience with Raymond equipment and flatbed attachments preferred Comfortable handling furniture and larger, bulkier items Reliable attendance and ability to work a Tuesday–Saturday schedule Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment Benefits & Perks Set 1st shift schedule Competitive hourly pay EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER: Surge is an equal opportunity employer.
