Business System Analyst
Apex Systems has a current opening with a leading Oil and Gas client in Houston, TX!
Contract: 9 months, possibility of extension
Location: either Houston, TX or remote in US
Summary Of Project: The main function of a business systems analyst is to analyze science, engineering, business and all other data processing problems for application to electronic data processing systems.
Responsibilities
- Analyzing user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve existing systems
- Review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
- Help accelerate the development of a HR Power BI product development leveraging the latest UI/UX data visualization design for great data storytelling and the latest Power BI features available
- Data modeling and transformations while helping us migrate the existing PBI product to a new data architecture/MDW over the course of the next 2 PI's
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience required
- Expert or Advanced Power BI
- Data modeling and transformations
- Skilled at the development of metrics and metric visualizations
- Great at UI/UX design and leveraging the latest data visualization design to convey actionable insights
- Ability to integrate Power BI with other Azure services (e.g.
