Role Description The Supplier Quality Specialist is a full-time, on-site / travel role based in Sparta, TN. This role is responsible for evaluating and monitoring project performance, conducting quality audits, and ensuring that materials and components meet established specifications and standards. Day-to-day tasks include reviewing project documentation, coordinating project inspection and testing activities, managing nonconformance reports, and partnering with customers to support corrective and preventive actions. The Specialist will work closely with internal quality, engineering, and operations teams and maintain compliance with relevant customer and ISO/TS requirements. This position requires a detail-oriented approach, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with both internal stakeholders and customer representatives. Qualifications Demonstrated ability in customer / supplier-focused activities, including project Evaluation and Quality Management. Strong foundation in product and process oversight, including Quality Control and Quality Management. Experience with Quality Assurance practices, including development, implementation, and maintenance of quality standards. Knowledge of automotive industry quality requirements and familiarity with ISO/TS or IATF 16949 standards. Proficiency in data analysis, root cause analysis, and problem-solving tools (e.g., 5 Whys, Fishbone diagrams, PPAP, FMEA). Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interface professionally with customers and internal teams. Strong organizational and time management skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation. Associate or bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience in quality. This position is 50% travel. Must be able to travel by car and/or air overnight. #J-18808-Ljbffr
