What You’ll Do

• Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing treatment planning
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders in a structured care setting
• Complete psychiatric assessments and document clinical encounters in the electronic health record
• Deliver timely, accurate charting and clear clinical communication
• Support medication management, including clinical rationale for medication use
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to support patient care
• Work independently with minimal supervision while meeting clinical and documentation standards

What You Need

Required

• Unrestricted Texas medical license (MD)
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Current, unrestricted DEA registration
• NPI number
• Comfort/proficiency with computers and electronic health records
• Pediatric Psychiatry experience 
• Ability to complete facility- and training requirements

Preferred

• Prior experience providing care via telepsychiatry (if working remotely)
• Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills

About the Assignment

This is an onsite or telehealth Psychiatry assignment in Waco, Texas , supporting psychiatric assessment, treatment, and documentation using an electronic medical record. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM . For remote providers, the first day must be in person , with telepsychiatry available thereafter.
