Microsoft Philanthropies Nonprofit Ops is dedicated to developing and delivering process and information management solutions using the Microsoft suite of products to enhance productivity and ensure compliance. The Program Manager role will involve leveraging the Microsoft suite of products to deliver program solutions. By working directly with Philanthropies Practice Groups to understand business processes, this role will gather and prioritize requirements, write business requirements, collaborate with CELA engineering teams or third-party suppliers to develop and enforce company guidelines, and successfully deliver solutions. This role will also be managing internal escalations and work closely with customer support team to resolve all escalations and manage the rhythm of business activities. This role offers the opportunity to combine process improvement, compliance knowledge, creativity, and customer focus to deliver exceptional solutions that meet customer and business objectives.
Responsibilities:
• Engage with all Philanthropies Business Groups, to understand program initiatives, understand project requests to define and scope the effort and guide process improvement efforts and information lifecycle solutions.
• Interface with customers, internal team as required, on technical matters and/or project subject matters from project initiation through delivery. Provide program/project schedules and status reports.
• Create the functional specification, requirements and/or scope that will be used as a tool in making decisions as to how the product, service and/or project will be implemented. Provide technical and/or analytical information to Product Managers, as required. Organize cross functional activities ensuring that the program is completed on schedule and within budget constraints
• Learn and understand the end-to-end business processes to ensure delivered solutions meet program needs, solve root cause and meet customer requirements.
• Learn and familiarize with a broad range of tools/systems and solutions that built for supporting different programs.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and make constructive suggestions for business process changes using automation.
• Gather, document and prioritize business and information lifecycle requirements to ensure successful delivery of the solution.
• Lead and own the day-to-day operational aspects of program and project management for each project assigned. This includes program/project initiation, communication, presentation and execution of a project plan and revisions as appropriate to meet changing needs and requirements.
• Design, develop, and configure solutions using an agile methodology.
• Manage internal program and customer escalations by triaging daily and resolving to customer satisfaction
• Drive to best leverage all the out of box capabilities of all Microsoft suite of products.
• Document the appropriate business process, compliance guidelines and solution, based on process mapping, information architecture, taxonomy analysis and the customer's functional and non-functional requirements. Ensure project, process documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
• Create reports and prepare monthly business review presentations
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration or
• Or 5+ years' experience leading the development and deployment of business analytics solutions and complex business intelligence solutions.
• 5+ years' of demonstrated corporate experience in Program Management in the field of information management, solution management or related fields.
• Experience using Microsoft Project to develop WBS and Project schedules.
• Experience with handling technical projects and working with engineering team. Assist with development of test cases and overall solution validation/testing.
• Knowledge and experience in data analysis, SQL & Power BI
