We are seeking an experienced CVOR Registered Nurse (RN) to join a leading acute care hospital in Sanford, Florida.

Schedule

• Full-Time
• Day Shift
• Rotating Weekends
• On-Call Required (10–15 call shifts per month)
• Must be able to respond within 30 minutes when on call

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Range: $34.85 – $49.06/hr (based on experience)
• Sign-On Bonus: $10,000
• On-Call Pay: $4.00/hr
• Time-and-a-half pay when called in
• Comprehensive Benefits Package

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assess patients before cardiovascular surgical procedures
• Provide patient and family education regarding surgery and recovery
• Administer pre-operative medications and IV therapy
• Participate in surgical time-outs, site verification, and safety protocols
• Monitor patients and respond to emergencies during the perioperative process
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain accurate documentation and deliver high-quality patient-centered care

Requirements

• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
• Associate Degree in Nursing or RN Diploma
• Minimum 2 years of recent Acute Care CVOR RN experience
• BLS required within 30 days of hire
• ACLS required within 6 months of hire
• PALS or ENPC required within 6 months of hire
