Paid Internship: Tax Team Assistant

The Tax Team Assistant will contribute to our success by providing excellent service and consistent coverage of the tax paperwork process. This is a Temporary, Part Time beginning January 18, 2027 to April 21, 2026. Seeking to fill 40 hours of work with two or three interns.
A successful candidate will be able to:
- provide a high degree of accuracy and strong attention to detail
- easily multi-task and accurately pick up where you left off
- provide accurate document management of digital and paper tax files within the company network and client files
- navigate accurately between multiple software programs and multiple email boxes: Outlook, SafeSend, Teams, MFA, UltraTax, Go File Room, Excel Spreadsheets, Quickbooks Time
- complete special projects: spreadsheets, mail giving statements
- able to work independently and part of a team
- maintain a calm and composed demeanor among interruptions from clients and staff, phone calls, walk-ins and scheduled client meetings
Education and/or Experience
- Currently enrolled in a college or university for tax or accounting
- Extremely strong technical skills – computer software, hardware, and general office equipment
