Ask for details!What You'll Do:Provides care during patient visits, discussing chief complaint and obtaining vital signs and complete health history for the patient. Develops a baseline physical assessmentPerforms phone triage with patients to determine chief complaint and assessment of next steps and follow up care neededDocuments health history, assessments, actions and medications in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systemAssists providers in diagnostic procedures and treatmentsPerforms IV Starts when ordered. Provides information to patient regarding the procedure, including site selection and possible complicationsCommunicates with patient to collect information on allergies and preexisting conditionsIdentifies the purpose, side effects, and onset of action for each class of drug being given to patient. Explains medication, usage and possible side effects to patient/guardian and obtains consentCollaborates with other healthcare providers in developing patient plan of care. Coordinates and plans interagency referrals related to patient care as directed by the providerCollaborates with provider in implementing the patient plan of care including providing education and identifying additional services needed for the patient. Initiates follow-up care plan as neededCollaborates with ancillary staff to process patients based on providers' schedule, maintaining smooth patient flowPerforms clinical responsibilities in alignment with The Joint Commission (TJC), Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), and YVFWC requirementsPerforms other duties as assignedQualifications:Associate's Degree or higher in NursingBachelor of Science Degree in Nursing preferred1 year of outpatient or clinical RN experience is preferredActive WA RN licenseDual Washington/Oregon licensure required within 120 days:Eastern Region clinics: Sunnyside IC, Grandview Medical, Mountainview, Valley Vista, Miramar Kennewick, Miramar Pasco, Family Medical Center, Unify Mission, Unify Northeast, and Mirasol.Western Oregon Regions: Salud Medical Center, Pacific Pediatrics, Rosewood Family Health Center, Rosewood Family Health Center at Lents, Lancaster Family Health Center at Beverly, Lancaster Family Health Center at Lancaster, Coastal Family Health Center, and Community Health Center Clatskanie.Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC): If the RN holds a license from a participating NLC state, they must provide proof of primary state of residence and proof of completed suicide ? prevention training during the first week of onboarding.
