Team OTR HazMat Company driver (W-2) Job in Germantown, MD by HMD Trucking

HazMat Company Truck Driver (W-2) - Germantown, MD
HMD Trucking is actively seeking skilled OTR Team CDL A Dry Van Drivers to transport HAZMAT freight throughout the country. We provide a strong mileage pay structure starting at 77 CPM Split, with an additional 4 CPM for hazmat loads, ensuring weekly averages of around 5,000 miles, alongside bonuses for safe driving and clean inspections.
What You Can Expect:
- Operate modern trucks under 3 years old that come equipped with APUs, inverters, and spacious sleepers.
- Enjoy reliable in-house maintenance support.
- Return home every two weeks while receiving full benefits such as health, dental, vision, PTO, and a 401(k) plan.
Requirements:
- Valid CDL A license with a minimum of 12 months of driving experience.
- Hazmat endorsement is essential. Join HMD for competitive compensation and a driver-focused environment that values safety and success.
Requirements
- 1 year of CDL-A OTR experience
- Hazmat endorsement
- No DUI/DWI in the last 5 years
- No more than 3 moving violations or 3 preventable accidents
- No excessive speeding (over 21 mph) in the last 3 years
- Must be above 23 years old at the time of applying
Benefits
- CPM $0.77 Split
- +$0.05 CPM Safety & productivity bonus split
- +$0.04 CPM Split when hauling hazmat
- Clean Inspection Bonus: $100
- Home time: 2 weeks out, 2 nights home

- Detention Pay: $15 per hour after the first 2 hours
- Layover Pay: $100 for every 24 hours
- Orientation Pay: $150
