We are seeking an experienced litigation attorney with a passion for representing Plaintiffs in civil rights cases to join our team. The right candidate will be comfortable working on multiple cases at a time, both independently and collaboratively. Candidates should be ready to take the lead on depositions, motions, and discovery matters. This position may be the right fit for you if you thrive in a collaborative environment, you have no trouble meeting deadlines, and you are adaptable.

Qualifications

Those with 2+ years’ experience preferred.

Licensed in good standing in Iowa

Litigation and jury trial experience

Experience taking depositions

Briefing, research, and writing skills

Ability to manage more than one case at a time

Ability to build positive client relationships

Employment law experience preferred but not required as we will teach the law. Litigation experience and readiness to take on various aspects of litigation are a greater need.

0-2 years' experience will be considered for individuals seeking to get directly involved in litigation-depositions, court hearings with potential travel out of state. Please note that our preferred experience is 2+ years.
