Psychiatrist

Our established outpatient mental health office is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible psychiatrist to join our practice. This opportunity is well suited for a psychiatrist who wants the independence of private practice while working alongside an established team of mental health professionals in a supportive office setting. The psychiatrist will operate their own private practice within our office and provide outpatient psychiatric evaluation and medication-management services. Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered. What We Offer Established outpatient office with a professional and welcoming environment Flexible full-time or part-time scheduling Administrative and front-office support Referrals from therapists and other providers within the community Collaborative relationships with experienced mental health professionals Private office space Independence in managing your clinical practice and schedule Opportunity to build or expand an existing patient caseload Responsibilities Complete psychiatric evaluations and diagnostic assessments Provide medication-management services and ongoing follow-up care Develop individualized treatment plans Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Coordinate care with therapists, primary care providers, and other professionals when appropriate Follow all applicable professional, ethical, and regulatory requirements Qualifications Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) Completion of an accredited psychiatry residency program Board-certified or board-eligible in psychiatry Active South Carolina medical license Active DEA registration Professional liability coverage Strong communication, documentation, and patient-care skills Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered outpatient care This is a private-practice opportunity and may be structured as an independent contractor or another mutually agreed-upon arrangement.
