Position Overview Restaurant Server at Inn at Perry Cabin, a Forbes 4‑star historic resort located on the Eastern Shore in St. Michaels, Maryland. What You Will Have An Opportunity To Do Serve as the face of the restaurant, ensuring a seamless dining experience for guests. Responsibilities include: Preparing the restaurant pre‑shift for service ahead Greeting guests as they arrive or move about the restaurant Guiding guests on their culinary journey through descriptive selling of the menu Accurately taking orders and confirming all special requests Mastering the menu, understanding details to enhance conversation Collaborating with other servers and kitchen/bar staff Assisting guests with concerns, guiding them to a resolution that leaves them happy Finalizing the experience through timely and accurate bill presentation Qualifications Engaging and welcoming personality Descriptive, sales-oriented communication 2‑4 years of food service experience Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails, and spirits Ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests Excellent communication skills Compensation
