Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Join Jackson Therapy Partners as a travel Speech Language Pathologist supporting an acute care hospital in Plantation, FL. Provide skilled assessment and treatment for adult and geriatric patients with communication and swallowing disorders. The team values clinical strength and patient advocacy. Candidates should be prepared to work independently with limited on-site training for specialty procedures.

Minimum Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA.
• Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology License. Provisional licenses not accepted.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Experience performing modified barium swallow studies (MBS/fluoro) and full proficiency in MBS procedures.
• Acute care experience with adult/geriatric populations, including swallow evaluations (post-extubation, stroke protocol, pneumonia, failure to thrive, AMS), dysphagia treatment, and speech/language evaluation and treatment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in an acute care hospital with Meditech documentation.
• Previous acute care travel experience preferred. This is preferred, not required.

Assignment Details

• Shift Hours: 0800-1630.
• Typical caseload: approximately 10–12 patients when at full caseload.
• Department uses Meditech for documentation.
• Must be proficient with MBS/fluoro equipment.
• Call requirements: None.
