About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse - Cardiac Cath Lab Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Interventional Services Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM Hours per Shift: 36 hours guaranteed Experience: 2+ years in Cath Lab and/or Interventional Radiology License: RN Certifications: BLS, ACLS Must-Have: - Experience in Cardiac Cath - Experience in Angiograms - Experience in IR cases such as paracentesis, thoracentesis, nephrostomy tubes - Administration of sedation - Recovery of sedation patients - Arterial access recovery - Experience in a multidisciplinary team Description: Urgent start needed. Manager interviews will be conducted. Rotating days Monday through Friday with rotating weekend call from 10 AM to 1 PM on Saturday and Sunday. Unit has 5 bays and 1 procedure room. Patients include inpatient, outpatient, and emergency department, details will be discussed during the interview. There will be RN supervision on the floor overseeing the traveler. The charting system used is Cerner and Pyxis. No floating is required. Scheduling includes a weekend rotation once per month. Manager approval is needed for time off requests. Call is scheduled for one night per week from 4 PM to 6 PM and rotating weekends. Holiday expectations will be discussed during the interview. Scrub color is procedural and will be provided.
