Job Summary The Registered Nurse is a professional practitioner who assesses, manages, directs, and provides nursing care activities during the patient’s hospital stay and coordinates planning with other disciplines utilizing a patient/customer driven approach. Responsibilities Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and reassessments, including admission, transfer, and post‑operative evaluations, and accurately document findings. Establish, coordinate, and evaluate patient plans of care, set short‑ and long‑term goals, formulate nursing interventions, and incorporate evidence‑based practice. Provide and document nursing interventions, coordinate care, administer medications and IVs, complete referrals, request consultations, and educate patients/families. Document and communicate changes in patient status, evaluate effectiveness of care, and modify plans as needed. Deliver specialized care for high‑risk patients, including restraint management, pain management, and abuse assessment. Demonstrate accountability for professional practice, including adherence to quality standards, ongoing learning, and policy compliance. Maintain professional relationships with coworkers, provide orientation to new staff, and supervise or teach students as required. Follow safety and infection‑control policies, practice standard precautions, and keep work environment clean and organized. Provide courteous, respectful, and timely service to patients, families, and healthcare team members. Participate in performance‑improvement initiatives, evidence‑based practice, and nursing research activities. Minimum Qualifications & Certifications Registered Nurse licensed to practice in the state of Missouri. State of Work Location: Illinois – Basic Life Support HealthCare Provider (BLS HCP) – American Heart Association (AHA) and Registered Professional Nurse (RN) – IDFPR. State of Work Location: Missouri – BLS HCP – AHA and Registered Nurse (RN) – Missouri Division of Professional Registration or Compact State. State of Work Location: Oklahoma – BLS HCP – AHA and Registered Nurse (RN) – Compact State or OBN. State of Work Location: Wisconsin – BLS HCP – AHA and Registered Nurse (RN) – Compact State or WPS. Day shift is required. Working Conditions May be exposed to blood‑borne diseases, unpleasant elements, unpredictable situations, emergencies, and irregular hours. Physical requirements include prolonged standing/walking, occasional lifting, and repetitive bending. Physical Requirements Occasional prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting, positioning, pushing, and/or transferring patients. Occasional reaching, stooping, bending, kneeling, and crouching. Shift & Hours Day shift – 36 scheduled weekly hours.
