Your Responsibilities
- Performing in-depth patient evaluations, initiating diagnostic procedures, and collaborating on personalized care strategies
- Diagnosing and managing acute or chronic health conditions alongside physicians or independently based on your level of credentialing
- Guiding patients and their families through prevention strategies, wellness education, and chronic disease management
- Prescribing medications and therapies in accordance with your practice scope
- Engaging in patient follow-ups and managing chronic care needs
- Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to provide seamless, comprehensive care
- Meticulously documenting all patient interactions and medical histories in electronic health records (EHR)
- Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) degree
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner training program
- Active Nurse Practitioner license in Oklahoma
- National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or equivalent specialty certification
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
