About This Role The Registered Nurse (RN) in Ambulatory Practice for Cardiovascular Surgery at Northwell Health is responsible for providing comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Highlights Location: New York, NY Schedule: Full-Time, Day shift What You'll Do Conduct patient interviews and assess health status across multiple systems. Communicate and document patient’s physiologic and psychological health status. Develop patient outcome statements and establish individualized goals. Coordinate cost-effective use of supplies and document the plan of care. Implement the plan of care while ensuring safety precautions are followed. Evaluate care effectiveness and perform variance analysis for improvement. Collaborate with care team members to plan and execute treatment regimens. Administer medications safely and educate patients on drug interactions. Participate in patient and family education and discharge planning. Perform related duties as required.
