Tutor Position at Forbes Alternative School and Tutoring

We are seeking dedicated and resilient tutors to support students at Forbes Alternative School and Tutoring. This role is designed for educators who believe in high expectations, growth, and the transformative power of consistent, individualized support. Tutors provide academic instruction aligned to district curriculum while fostering accountability, positive decision-making, and goal setting. The ideal candidate demonstrates patience, strong instructional skills, and the ability to build respectful, productive relationships with students who may have experienced significant challenges. This position requires a balance of structure and compassion, ensuring students remain connected to learning and are prepared for a successful transition back to their school community. Please note scheduled days and hours are subject to change based on our student needs. A wage of $34 per hour will be paid.
