Job TitleHours: Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:00amPay: $29.00/HRDutiesComply with all company and site safety rules, PPE requirements, and safe-work practicesPerform safe and effective operation of welding equipment, tools, and machineryWeld components using MIG (GMAW), Stick (SMAW), and TIG (GTAW) processes, including complex aluminum assembliesInterpret and understand engineering drawings, blueprints, and weld symbols to execute accurate weldsOperate, monitor, and troubleshoot robotic welding systems (Panasonic and Genesis Robotics)Assist with robotic welder setup, programming adjustments, and quality checksFlex across different products and work areas to support production needsProvide training and guidance to new employees or team members learning new work areasFollow established procedures, standard work, and quality requirementsTroubleshoot and resolve welding-related issues, including weld defects, equipment problems, and material inconsistenciesMaintain welding equipment, perform basic repairs, and ensure tools remain in proper working conditionPerform additional duties as assigned to support production and maintenance teamsQualificationsIntermediate-level proficiency in MIG (GMAW) and Stick (SMAW) weldingProficiency in TIG (GTAW) welding, especially on aluminumStrong understanding of aluminum alloys, weld characteristics, and process reactionsExperience operating and maintaining robotic welding systems (Panasonic, Genesis Robotics preferred)Ability to perform both manual welding and robotic welding operations as neededAbility to read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and engineering documentationStrong troubleshooting skills for weld quality, equipment issues, and process deviationsAbility to work safely, follow procedures, and maintain a clean, organized work areaStrong teamwork, communication, and willingness to support multiple production areasPhysical ability to stand for extended periods and lift materials as required (typically up to 50 lbs)What Does Express Offer To You?Weekly paychecks!Vision InsuranceMedical PlanDental Plan401(K) Retirement Savings PlanLife InsuranceReferral Bonuses (Earn up to $125 for each person you refer!)Why Express Employment Professionals, Oshkosh WI?Express placed over 1,350 people in 2024 just in the Fox Valley!We provide our associates with excellent comprehensive and competitive benefits!When you apply to us, you apply to 100+ companies in the Fox Valley!Over 170 people were hired on with a permanent position in 2024.
