The SVP, Business Execution plays a central role in ensuring ICS priorities are delivered with discipline, consistency, and impact. This individual will drive execution across strategic initiatives, business management, and governance while acting as a key partner to senior leadership and stakeholders across Citi.Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Execution & Program LeadershipDrive execution of ICS priorities, ensuring alignment, accountability, and measurable outcomes across regions and business linesAct as the primary point of contact for cross-functional initiatives, including firmwide and Wealth-led programsBusiness Management & PlanningOversee business management activities, including headcount planning, financial management, and resource allocationSupport forward-looking planning and growth projections aligned with ICS strategyPartner with senior leadership on business reviews, quarterly updates, and executive-level reportingWorkforce Strategy & Organizational EffectivenessLead workforce planning and organizational health efforts to ensure the team is appropriately structured and resourcedDrive initiatives focused on people, culture, and engagement, including Voice of Employee (VOE) programsSupport the development of a high-performing, collaborative culture aligned with ICS and firm prioritiesFinancial Management & Expense DisciplineOversee expense management, ensuring strong financial discipline and alignment with budget targetsIdentify cost efficiencies while maintaining focus on strategic investment areasPartner with Finance on forecasting, budgeting, and ongoing performance trackingRisk, Controls & GovernanceMaintain a strong control environment, ensuring adherence to Citi’s risk, compliance, and regulatory standardsCoordinate Internal Audit activities, including issue tracking, remediation, and sustainable control improvementsPromote proactive risk identification and ensure transparent escalation and resolution of issuesBusiness Operations & Governance RoutinesLead core business routines, including governance forums, operating cadences, and stakeholder updatesDrive consistency and transparency in execution, reporting, and decision-making processesServe as a central coordination point across Wealth and broader Citi stakeholdersExecutive Communications & Leadership SupportDevelop high-quality executive materials, including Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs), leadership forums, and strategic updatesSupport “Day at the Firm” and other leadership initiatives to ensure clear, consistent messagingStrategic Messaging & EngagementDrive “OneCiti” communication efforts, including ESPA-related messaging and internal communicationsEnsure alignment of ICS messaging with broader firm prioritiesSupport change management and communication across key initiativesStakeholder ManagementBuild and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholdersEnsure effective communication, alignment, and coordination across global teamsQualifications10+ years of experience in financial services, preferably within a global, matrixed organizationExperience in business execution, strategy, COO, or business management rolesStrong track record of executing complex, cross-functional initiativesExperience in financial management, planning, and performance trackingCore SkillsStrong project and program management capabilitiesExcellent communication skillsAdvanced analytical skills with the ability to generate clear insights and recommendationsStrong relationship-building and influencing skills across functions and seniority levelsHigh attention to detail with the ability to maintain a strategic perspectiveAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environmentEducation:Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experienceEducation:Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferredThis job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
