System Integration Configuration Specialist

Position Overview Full-time Configuration Specialist to support System Integration and modernization projects within the Technology Consulting team. The role involves designing, configuring, and developing custom forms, templates, and workflows; implementing SaaS platforms; and ensuring code quality and integration across projects. Responsibilities Contribute to designing, configuring, and developing custom forms, templates, and workflows. Implement our Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms to best serve clients. Configure client-specific functionality to meet unique requirements using SaaS platform tools, JavaScript, and other coding languages. Produce clean, efficient code based on functional and non‑functional specifications. Integrate software components and third‑party programs. Debug, troubleshoot, and upgrade existing software. Gather, evaluate, and document customer use cases and business processes. Create technical documentation for reference and reporting. Understand low‑code platforms, relational database structures, and configuration methodologies. Develop project reports such as Project Schedule, Quality Management Plan, Testing Plan, Conversion Plan, etc. Support client and stakeholder planning and strategy discussions on risk and issue resolution to maintain schedule and budget. Understand software development life cycle methodologies and application support. Participate in business development initiatives, including RFP review and writing. Minimum Qualifications 2+ years of experience with COTS or SaaS solutions. 2+ years of experience in all system development life cycle phases using Agile, Waterfall, and/or Hybrid Agile approaches. Proficiency in JavaScript or other common coding languages for system configuration, development, and troubleshooting. Familiarity with JSON formatting and APIs, including implementation and testing. Experience implementing integrated solutions to modernize legacy systems and/or mainframe technology through development of n-tier based solutions. Other Qualifications Software: MS Office (Project, Visio, Word, Excel, SharePoint). Tools: MS Visual Studio, JIRA, Postman. Coding languages: JavaScript, C#, Python, or other common coding languages. Technical: Service Oriented Architecture, TCP, FTP, SSH. Databases: SQL, NoSQL, Oracle. Methodologies: Waterfall, Agile, Scrum. Standards: PMBOK, CMMI, Prosci OCM, IEEE, SEI. Desirable Certifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in an IT or engineering field. Certified DevOps Project Manager (DevOps PM). Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Certified. Certified Software Test Manager (CSTM). Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner. ITIL Certified. Personal Attributes Outstanding written and oral communication. Highly self‑motivated and directed. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills. Strong analytical skills and detail‑oriented. Ability to work independently and exercise sound judgment. Strong work ethic, managing multiple deadlines with high accuracy. Continuous learner. Working Conditions Office setting; hybrid work with travel/on‑site requirements. Applicants must have a safe, private, distraction‑free environment during set working hours. Some travel to office or client sites may be required. Compensation and Benefits Range: $75,000 - $95,000. Benefits include medical and dental care, 401(k), PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
