About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: 12 Hour PM-AM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required: 0 License: RN License Required Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Experience with chest tubes - Experience with tubes and drips such as Diltiazem, heparin, Lasix, insulin, or amiodarone - Experience with lines, tubes, drains for post-surgical patients - Experience with tracheostomies and laryngectomies - Telemetry experience - Experience with complex wounds - Experience with central line care, maintenance, and blood draws Description: This position is for a busy surgical unit that cares for primarily orthopedic and trauma patients, as well as other specialties such as plastics and general surgery. Mobilizing and rehabilitating patients is the main goal of this unit. Candidates should possess experience in managing various medical devices and complex patient needs. This role may involve working a day/night rotation. An ability to work effectively in a team environment and adapt to a fast-paced clinical setting is essential.
