Job Description
Source and purchase materials, goods, and services to meet procurement needs. Manage purchase orders and resolve any discrepancies or issues. Monitor supplier performance and maintain strong vendor relationships. Ensure timely delivery of materials to support production schedules. Analyze market trends and identify opportunities for cost reduction. Manage inventory manage & lead times to accurately update & track OR's. Collaborate with internal teams to understand inventory and material requirements. Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier information. Negotiate contracts and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Buyer I should have: Experience with procurement processes and supplier management. Ability to manage contracts effectively. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Proficiency in using procurement software and tools. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. Drive to grow into a Buyer II & learn strategic sourcing methodlogies.
