Data Architect

Akkodis is seeking a Data Architect for a Contract job with a client in Irving, TX . The ideal candidate must have strong experience in AI Data Processing, Snowflake, and Talend, along with expertise in enterprise data architecture, data integration, and cloud-based data platforms.

Rate Range: $76/hour to $100/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Data Architect job responsibilities include:

• Define and govern enterprise data architecture, data models, and integration frameworks to support scalable business, reporting, analytics, and AI initiatives.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes using Talend to enable efficient and reliable movement of data across multiple platforms and systems.
• Architect and manage enterprise data solutions leveraging Snowflake Data Warehouse , Teradata SQL, and cloud-based technologies.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, application teams, data engineers, and analytics teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions.
• Establish and enforce data governance, security, quality, compliance, and master data management standards across the organization.
• Lead data architecture reviews, technical design discussions, and provide guidance to development teams on best practices and solution design.
• Analyze and resolve complex data integration, performance, scalability, and transformation challenges across enterprise systems.

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in: AI Data Processing, Snowflake Data Warehouse, Talend Development.
• Strong expertise in: Data Architecture, Data Modeling, ETL/ELT Development, Data Integration, Data Governance, Data Quality Management.
• Experience with: Snowflake, Talend, SQL, Teradata, Cloud Data Platforms, Enterprise Data Warehousing.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Experience leading architecture initiatives and collaborating with business and technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience supporting AI and Machine Learning data pipelines.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with enterprise analytics and reporting solutions.
• Familiarity with data security, compliance, metadata management, and governance frameworks.
• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise digital transformation and data modernization programs.

Pay Details: $76.00 to $100.00 per hour
