Location 2601 Dudley Ave.,Parkersburg, WV, 26101,United States Base Pay $18.00 / Hour Employee Type Non-Exempt FT Required Degree High school Travel 5% Manage Others No Contact information Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Verifies accuracy of billing data and revises any errors prior to submission to billing source. Keeps records of invoices and supporting documentation. Operate computers programmed with accounting software to record, store and analyze billing information. Reconcile or note and report discrepancies found in records Process returned unpaid account activities and prepares for follow up invoicing. Comply with federal, state and company policies, procedures and regulations Maintains confidentiality of all information and complies with HIPAA regulations Demonstrates knowledge of and supports Westbrook Health Services mission, vision, values, policies and procedures, operating instructions, confidentiality standards and code of ethical behavior. Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or GED; prior computer/PC experience using computerized billing systems is preferred, but not required. Incumbent must also possess basic math Skills. Must pass Criminal Investigation Background and DHHR background checks. Able to use basic office machines such as typewriter, computer system with programmed accounting software; calculators and fax machine. Able to communicate clearly and accurately with a variety of individuals in order to convey and received information effectively. Must work well in a team environment Work with staff, consumers and others in a professional, cooperative ethical respectful and effective manner.
