Radiation Therapist

Job Description: Join us as a Radiation Therapist at Inova Schar Cancer Institute in Falls Church, VA, for a 13-week contract working five 8-hour shifts each week. This role gives you the chance to apply your expertise in utilizing Varian treatment systems including Truebeam, Trilogy, and IBA Proton, as well as Aria EMR, in a setting dedicated solely to cancer treatment. You’ll be part of a focused team in a facility with seven treatment rooms, providing essential therapies in a fast-paced, professional environment. The role involves working closely with a small team of Radiation Therapists and offers the opportunity to fine-tune your skills in a supportive setting that values expertise and dedication. Expect variable weekend shifts and holiday coverage during treatment weeks, with a focus on maintaining the highest standards in patient care while working with state-of-the-art equipment. Dress code is gray scrubs, and departmental orientations include Epic and in-service training with lead therapists to ensure you’re well-prepared for your role.
