About the Position

Restaurant Team Members play an important role in the daily success of the restaurant. In this position, you will assist guests, prepare and package food, maintain a clean and organized workplace, and support your teammates throughout each shift.

Team members are trained in multiple areas of the restaurant. This cross-training approach provides opportunities to develop new skills, take on additional responsibilities, and learn how each position contributes to a successful operation.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome guests and provide friendly, attentive service.
• Help guests understand the menu and select items that meet their preferences.
• Accurately take, prepare, assemble, and package orders.
• Prepare high-quality food while following established recipes and food-safety procedures.
• Maintain clean dining, kitchen, service, drive-thru, and outdoor areas.
• Wash, sanitize, and properly store dishes, utensils, and food-preparation equipment.
• Communicate clearly with guests, managers, and fellow team members.
• Assist teammates during busy periods to keep service moving efficiently.
• Follow restaurant procedures for cleanliness, sanitation, safety, and product quality.
• Represent the restaurant positively during community events and local initiatives.
• Complete additional tasks as needed to support restaurant operations.

Areas of Cross-Training

Depending on business needs, team members may be trained in several positions, including:

Guest Service

• Front Counter
• Dining Room
• Drive-Thru
• Order Running
• Outdoor Guest Service
• Parking Lot Coordination

Kitchen and Operational Support

• Grill and Cooking
• Food Preparation
• Service Line
• Order Assembly and Bagging
• Dishwashing and Sanitation
• Dole Whip Station
• Stocking and Restocking
• Line Support

Team members assigned to food-preparation positions are responsible for preparing food safely, following quality standards, and cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas to help prevent contamination.
