Maintains a clean and organized food service area, ensures proper storage and labeling of ingredients, and adheres to all food safety regulations to deliver a great guest experience.Willing and able to clean all areas of the store, including breaking down food equipment and following established cleaning procedures. Ensures adherence to safety protocols when handling chemicals.Ensure shelves are fully stocked, and backrooms and coolers are clean, well-organized, and maintained.Operates the cash register efficiently and accurately, processes transactions, handles cash and card payments, and provides excellent guest service. Ensures the register area is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies while adhering to all cash-handling policies and procedures.Act as the first point of contact for guest concerns, responding respectfully and compassionately while recognizing when to escalate issues to the shift manager.Meet guest transaction expectations by managing line lengths and providing polite, clear, and prompt communication while responding quickly to requests.Recognize the importance of following all written and verbal instructions to uphold food safety standards, including thoroughly cleaning preparation stations.Proactively inform guests about promotional food items to raise awareness and drive product engagement.Act in accordance with all RaceTrac policies, as well as federal, state, and local safety regulations, including those related to food safetyRespond openly to feedback from guests, team members, and leaders, making necessary adjustments to enhance performance.Be a reliable team player by arriving on time for scheduled shifts, supporting teammates throughout their shift, sharing important information, and working effectively with individuals from different backgrounds.Engage with guests and teammates politely and respectfully, listening actively to their requests without interrupting.Qualifications:All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment with RaceTrac without regard to their race, national origin, religion, age, color, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by local, state, or federal laws, rules, or regulations.
