Operations Analyst - Mortgage Loan Trading

A leading global financial services firm is seeking an Operations Analyst to join its Global Banking & Markets division in Dallas, TX. This role sits within the ASL & Mortgage Trading Servicing team, a multi-faceted diligence and asset management platform specializing in whole loan acquisition, sales, securitizations, and financing opportunities across mortgage, consumer, real estate, and warehouse financing products. Dallas, TX (On-site) | Contract | $23/hour | 6 Months+

Key Responsibilities

• Service a portfolio of syndicated and bilateral financing facilities across consumer, student, solar, auto, and residential asset classes
• Work with agent banks and transfer agents to identify and resolve cash and position discrepancies
• Settle complex loan trades and review intricate legal documents related to the syndicated warehouse loan portfolio
• Communicate effectively with external counterparts including agent banks, clients, and trading partners, as well as internal stakeholders across Business Groups, Middle Office, Legal, Tax, Controllers, Technology, and more
• Collaborate with Mortgage Loan Trading and Structured Finance teams across New York, London, Bengaluru, and Asia on warehouse infrastructure initiatives
• Support multifaceted structured transactions including large-scale purchases, acquisitions, and securitizations of Residential, Commercial Real Estate, and Consumer loan pools
• Meet Key Risk Indicators and performance metrics as outlined by management
• Assist with regulatory reporting as it relates to the bank loans industry

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Math, or Accounting required
• 2–4 years of financial industry or related experience preferred; 4+ years also considered
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
• Experience with Tableau or Business Intelligence tools is a plus
• Mortgage banking or broader financial services experience strongly preferred
• Strong analytical mindset with exceptional attention to detail
• Clear, concise, and confident communicator with the ability to manage both internal and external relationships
• Ability to prioritize workload, manage expectations, and perform under tight deadlines and extended hours when required
• Collaborative team player with a proactive, solutions-oriented attitude
