Software Developer Engineer II

Job Description

Design, develop, and maintain complex software applications using Python .
Lead development projects and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Write efficient, scalable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Debug, troubleshoot, and optimize applications for performance and reliability.
Mentor junior developers and participate in code reviews.
Design and implement RESTful APIs using Django and Django REST Framework .
Set up and manage CI/CD pipelines to support reliable and efficient deployment processes.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
Work effectively in UNIX/Linux environments .
Utilize UNIX command-line tools and scripting, including Bash, grep, and awk .

4+ years of experience in Python development .
Strong proficiency in Python , with hands-on experience in Django and RESTful APIs .
Strong understanding of React for developing dynamic user interfaces.
Experience with CI/CD tools, pipelines, and deployment practices .
Knowledge of ETL processes and data pipeline management .
Familiarity with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration and automation.
Experience with Apache Superset for data visualization and reporting.
Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Access Database .
Experience working in Unix/Linux environments and developing scripts.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Creative and innovative mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field .
