Account Clerk III
We are seeking a detail-oriented Account Clerk III to support a high-volume financial claims operation responsible for reviewing, researching, and processing financial records and claims. This position requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and advanced computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel.
The ideal candidate will possess recent accounting experience, strong analytical abilities, and the ability to communicate professionally with customers and stakeholders while ensuring compliance with established laws, regulations, and organizational procedures.
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of recent accounting experience
- Some college coursework completed, preferably in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
- Strong computer skills with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy when reviewing financial documents and processing claims
- Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving abilities
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment when handling sensitive financial information
Preferred Experience:
- Experience in accounting, financial operations, claims processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, reconciliation, banking, insurance, or government finance environments
- Experience researching financial records and resolving discrepancies
- Previous experience processing high-volume transactions and maintaining detailed documentation
