Shipping / Receiving Clerk

All StarZ Staffing is hiring a Shipping & Receiving Associate for an immediate opening with a food distribution company in South Seattle, WA, near West Marginal Way S and Hwy 509. This role focuses on shipping and receiving, material handling, inventory control, and operating powered warehouse equipment. We're looking for someone with shipping and receiving, forklift operation, inventory control, warehouse, or material handling experience. This is a full-time, temporary opportunity with potential for more.

What schedule does this role have? Sunday - Tuesday and Thursday - Friday starting at 6am
What does the Shipping & Receiving Associate do? You'll unload incoming shipments, move materials using powered equipment, enter purchase orders, and help keep inventory accurate and organized throughout the warehouse.

Pay for the Shipping & Receiving Associate:

• $22.30 per hour

Job Location:

• South Seattle, WA, right off Hwy 99 (West Marginal Way S) and Hwy 509
• Bus line accessible: The job site is about a 5-minute walk from King County Metro Route 60
• Conveniently located near a variety of dining options along 14th Ave S

Schedule for the Shipping & Receiving Associate:

• Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday

• 6:00am until work is completed

Shipping & Receiving Associate Duties:

• Unload incoming shipments and freight
• Receive and verify incoming products and materials
• Enter purchase orders and maintain accurate inventory and receiving records
• Move materials throughout the warehouse using powered equipment
• Operate stand-up electric forklifts, sit-down propane forklifts, and manual pallet jacks
• Organize and maintain inventory accuracy
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations as needed
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies

Shipping & Receiving Associate Qualifications:

• Previous shipping and receiving, warehouse, material handling, or inventory experience preferred
• Experience operating stand-up electric forklifts, sit-down propane forklifts, and pallet jacks preferred
• Ability to accurately enter and track purchase order information
• Strong attention to detail and inventory accuracy
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Must be able to maintain regular attendance
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
