Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Tue 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Wed 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Thur 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Fri 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a retail distribution location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the distribution facility, warehouse areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity. Monitor access points and verify authorization for employees, visitors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures. Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel. Minimum Requirements: Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
