Role: Customer Service Representative

Location: Greenfield, IN

Duration: 6 Months contract to hire

Job Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
• Coordinate with internal teams to manage shipping schedules and ensure on-time deliveries.
• Input and maintain accurate customer information and records in our database.
• Assist customers in understanding our services, including temperature-controlled shipping options.
• Collaborate with logistics personnel to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
• Monitor shipments and provide updates to customers as needed.
• Handle customer complaints with empathy and professionalism, striving for resolution and customer satisfaction.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to process improvement initiatives.

Essential Qualifications:

• Bachelor's / Associate Degree

• 1 year of experience
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering exceptional service.

Desired Experience:

• Previous experience in customer service or a related field, preferably in the logistics or transportation sector.
• Familiarity with temperature-controlled shipping practices is advantageous.
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment with diverse personalities.
