Position Overview

Megeredchian Law is seeking an experienced Assistant Case Manager to join our growing Pre-Litigation Department.

This position is ideal for someone with prior personal injury experience who enjoys supporting case progression, maintaining organized files, and assisting clients through the early stages of their claims. The Assistant Case Manager will work closely with an experienced Case Manager to help ensure cases move efficiently and accurately from intake through settlement preparation.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and able to manage multiple priorities while maintaining excellent client service.

Responsibilities

• Assist Case Managers with the day-to-day handling of personal injury cases
• Open new claims and report accidents to insurance companies and other relevant parties
• Prepare and send letters of representation and standard case-related correspondence
• Request and track hospital liens, Medi-Cal liens, Medicare liens, and related documentation
• Obtain and organize medical records, billing records, hospital records, and police reports
• Process Proofs of Employment (POEs) and DMV requests
• Maintain accurate case notes and updates within the case management system
• Follow internal procedures, deadlines, and workflows to keep cases progressing efficiently
• Communicate professionally with clients, medical providers, insurance adjusters, and other parties involved in the claim
• Assist with gathering documentation needed for settlement and case resolution

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of personal injury law firm experience
• Familiarity with personal injury claims, insurance processes, and medical documentation
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple files in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong time-management and problem-solving abilities
• Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office and general office technology

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting pre-litigation personal injury cases
• Experience handling motor vehicle accident claims
• CasePEER or other legal case management software experience
• Bilingual English/Spanish skills
• Experience obtaining and reviewing medical records, liens, and supporting documentation

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience, personal injury knowledge, organizational skills, and ability to effectively support case management operations.

Hourly Rate: $22.00–$28.00 per hour (DOE)

Schedule

• Full-time
• Monday–Friday
• On-site position in Burbank, CA
• Employees may choose a start time between 7:30 AM and 9:30 AM, which determines the remainder of their workday
