About the Role
The Company is in search of a Vice President, Global Events Manager to lead the full cycle of event planning and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for a range of events, including conferences, educational roadshows, webinars, workshops, and sponsorship activations, with a focus on aligning these activities with the company's goals and the needs of its clients. This role demands a highly organized professional with a proven track record in managing multiple complex programs, strong project management skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The VP, Global Events Manager will also be tasked with managing all event logistics, developing and maintaining project plans, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure a seamless and high-quality attendee experience. Applicants for this role at the company should have 6-12+ years' of experience in event management, conference planning, field marketing, experiential marketing, or related disciplines. While not mandatory, a basic to intermediate knowledge of alternative investments, wealth management, asset management, or financial services is preferred. The role requires proficiency in event technology platforms, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a strong execution mindset, attention to detail, and a passion for delivering world-class experiences that support business growth. Responsibilities also include managing event budgets, contracts, and vendor relationships, as well as the ability to travel and work across time zones as needed.
