Job Title

Travel CST CVOR – Cardiovascular Operating Room Surgical Technologist

Contract | Travel | 13 Weeks | Days | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | On-Site

Key Responsibilities

• Scrub proficiently on cardiac cases requiring cardiopulmonary bypass and related mediastinal procedures
• Assist with thoracic surgery cases including daVinci-assisted lobectomy, wedge resections, open thoracotomy, and VATS
• Support procedures including CABG, valve replacement and repair, aortic dissection repair, TAVR, and mediastinal lymph node biopsy
• Participate in procedures initiating ECMO and pericardial window cases
• Take assigned call beginning at 3:00 PM on weekdays and covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday when scheduled for weekend call

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist in a hospital setting
• Active New Hampshire (NH) nursing/surgical tech license or compact license — must be in place at time of submission
• Current BLS certification (required)
• Current ACLS certification (required)
• Demonstrated proficiency scrubbing CVOR cases including cardiac bypass and thoracic procedures

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior experience with ECMO initiation procedures
• Familiarity with daVinci robotic-assisted surgical cases in a thoracic or cardiac setting
• Experience with TAVR and aortic dissection repair procedures
