Travel RN - Telemetry

This is a travel RN position in a Telemetry unit. The unit has a total of 345 beds. The hospital has received 3-time Magnet designation. There is a float pool of about 80 staff members. Day shift RNs and CNAs are available on most units, while night shift has RNs and CNAs as well. Patient ratios are approximately 1:5 during both day and night shifts and may vary between units. Candidates will be expected to work with various types of equipment and electronic medical records. Strong Telemetry experience is preferred. A chemotherapy certification is a plus, as the candidate may schedule on the Oncology unit. Typical procedures performed on the unit will vary. There is a large cardiac population with Telemetry and PCU floors. Flexibility and a willingness to float to different inpatient units are essential. Ideal candidates will possess teamwork skills and compassion for patient care. This role offers a great opportunity to learn about managing both acute and chronic medical issues.
