Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced ABEM/AOBEM Board Certified Emergency Medicine Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Miami, Florida , beginning October 1, 2026 .

This opportunity offers 12–14 shifts per month within a 32-bed Emergency Department seeing approximately 47,000 annual visits . Physicians practice in an academic medical environment with extensive specialty support, Epic EMR, and a predominantly physician-driven staffing model.

For an experienced, Spanish-speaking Emergency Physician looking to build a substantial locums schedule in one of the country's most dynamic markets , this is an exceptional opportunity to spend several months practicing in the heart of Miami.

Schedule Options

Multiple weekday and weekend shifts are available:

• 9:00 AM–6:00 PM
• 12:00 PM–10:00 PM
• 3:00 PM–12:00 AM
• 5:00 PM–1:00 AM
• 10:00 PM–7:00 AM
• Weekend: 10:00 AM–9:00 PM
• Weekend: 3:00 PM–1:00 AM
• Weekend: 9:00 PM–7:00 AM

With 12–14 shifts needed each month , physicians have the opportunity to build a meaningful locums schedule rather than piece together isolated coverage dates.

Practice Environment

Physicians manage a broad spectrum of adult Emergency Medicine presentations with access to an extensive network of consulting specialties.

Physicians also collaborate with and supervise Advanced Practice Clinicians as part of the Emergency Medicine care model.

Candidate Requirements

• MD or DO
• ABEM or AOBEM Board Certified – Required
• Emergency Medicine residency trained
• Active Florida medical license – Required
• Fluent/Proficient Spanish – Required
• Minimum 3+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
• Current ACLS
• Current BLS
• Comfortable supervising APCs
• Clean credentialing and professional file required
• October availability required

Family Medicine and Internal Medicine-trained physicians are not accepted.

The facility will not process candidates with a pending Florida license .

Credentialing

Temporary/emergency privileges may be available for appropriately qualified physicians with a clean credentialing file , creating a potential pathway to an October start.

Candidates should be prepared to provide specific October availability at presentation .
