Credit Support Representative

The credit support representative is responsible for processing credit applications, creating customer accounts, and providing support to the credit and accounts receivable departments.

Responsibilities

• Contact customers to obtain account information and create new customer profiles.
• Initiate and expedite credit references.
• Review credit application packages for completeness.
• Post and balance payments to customer accounts, including lockbox, paper checks, credit cards, ACH, and wire transfers.
• Process credit card transactions.
• Reconcile and resolve account discrepancies and assist customers with inquiries.
• Prepare deposit slips for bank deposits.
• Assist with audit preparation.
• Print, match, and file paperwork.
• Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as directed by the supervisor.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent; certification in a related field and/or college degree preferred but not required.
• 2 years of experience directly related to the duties of the position.
• Organized, with a high level of attention to detail and accurate data entry skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Capable of following established work instructions and procedures.
• Experience working with ERPs, Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Work Environment

This position is onsite, with working hours from Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.96 - $27.11/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
