Technician 2 - HVAC / Temperature Control ( Shop)

Job Summary We’re looking for a Technician 2 – HVAC / Temperature Control (Shop) in Miami, FL to help us power progress for our customers. Benefits Full‑time with potential for overtime and/or weekends No premium cost medical plan option available Robust technical training programs, in person and virtual, on diesel, gas, compressed air, electrical, controls, oil‑free air compressors, HVAC, microgrid & storage and more Career growth opportunities and tuition reimbursement available Safety‑focused culture working on brand new technology Responsibilities Based out of the Miami, FL service center and work in the Central Repair Shop Work overtime and weekends; potential for travel Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC equipment Troubleshoot equipment failures at the shop Qualifications High School diploma/GED or equivalent work experience 4–7 years of experience working on commercial HVAC equipment, performing inspections, maintenance, and repairs Experience calculating nominal and effective tonnage and/or kW requirements, and reading and knowing schematics May be required to obtain and maintain a TWIC card or valid DOT medical card Either work independently or teamed up with another technician to set up and operate equipment at the shop Valid driver’s license Ability to move or lift objects typically less than 50 lbs.
