Senior Consultant I

The Senior Consultant I – Reliability Consultant is responsible for leading and supporting reliability consulting engagements focused on reliability-based maintenance. This role requires technical expertise in asset management and maintenance best practices to support client projects, centered around maintenance optimization. The consultant would be capable of working independently, serving as the primary owner of project deliverables. This position requires the ability to perform projects in the field, interpret technical documentation, and travel to client sites as needed.What You Will Do:Conduct asset walkdowns to create a Master Asset List (MAL). Will need to collect, verify, and document equipment information, including manufacturer, model number, serial number, nameplate data, and other relevant equipment attributes.Develop, review, and maintain Bills of Materials (BOMs) for client assets and equipment.Create preventive maintenance (PM) tasks, job plans, and programs from the ground up and revise existing PMs as required.Support and/or lead asset criticality ranking efforts to prioritize maintenance and reliability improvement activities.Review and interpret Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), OEM manuals, vendor-supplied documents, and other technical asset documentation.Participate in Asset Strategy Optimization (ASO) initiatives to improve maintenance effectiveness, reliability performance, and lifecycle asset management.Perform spare parts analyses (SPA) to support maintenance planning, inventory optimization, and equipment reliability.Provide technical expertise on project tasks under the supervision of a project manager to ensure quality services are delivered on schedule and within available budget to meet customer requirements.Demonstrate a firm understanding of business and implement opportunities for enhancing effectiveness and efficiencies on assigned projects and amongst team members.Develop relationships with existing customers to facilitate development of new business opportunities for current and/or additional services. Represent ABS Group and participate in promoting our products and services.While the position is remote, regular travel (50%+) to client sites and project locations is a core part of the role.What You Will Need:Education and ExperienceA minimum of a bachelor’s Degree or the equivalent in work experience and training.A minimum of 6+ years of experience is preferred.Professional certification preferred.Knowledge, Skills, and AbilitiesFamiliarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS).
