Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg

Registered Nurse Med/Surg / Telemetry
Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM 7:00 AM. Shift options: 36- or 48-hour shifts available. Weekend requirement: Every other weekend.
Minimum 2 years relevant RN experience. BLS certification required. ACLS certification preferred. Must be able to start/maintain IVs. Experience in med-surg/telemetry care, dysrhythmia recognition/management, heparin management, wound care/Wound VAC, non-invasive airway support, renal failure care.
Provide patient-centered care in a med-surg/telemetry environment for various age groups, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics. Monitor and manage patient conditions, including vital signs and other health indicators. Administer medications and treatments as per healthcare protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes. Educate patients and families regarding health conditions, medications, and procedures.
COVID-19 vaccine: Not required. Flu vaccine: Required (medical/religious exemptions only). Pre-employment testing: Candidate must go into the lab within 48 hours after signing; all testing completed within 48 hours. Orientation includes unit orientation shifts plus one day of on-site training with an educator.
