Job Opportunity: Pediatric Urology Surgeon

Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Urology Surgeon to join our team in a full-time faculty role at the Assistant or Associate Professor level, contingent upon experience and academic credentials. This position offers eligibility for both tenure and non-tenure tracks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Report directly to the Chair of Urology, Dr. Bradley Schwartz.
• Contribute to the growth and enhancement of our academic Urology program in Illinois.
• Obtain privileges at Springfield Memorial Hospital and HSHS St. John's Hospital.
• Maintain an active medical practice while teaching students and residents.
• Engage in clinical and/or basic science research.

Qualifications and Skills Required:

• Board-eligible or board-certified in the U.S.
• Eligibility for an Illinois medical license.
• Successful completion of a Urology residency and a Pediatric Urology fellowship.
• Awareness of the needs of underrepresented minority populations.

The anticipated annual salary range for this role is between $250,000 and $275,000 , representing the academic base salary funded by the University. The final salary will be determined based on market data, internal equity, candidate qualifications, and budget considerations.
