job summary:
Help our client make energy work better and power your career forward today! We are seeking a professional Designer with an Associate degree and 0-3 years of GIS or electrical experience to design distribution projects in Edina, MN.

• Perform GIS-based electrical distribution design work for new and existing residential, commercial, and industrial customers, ensuring all facilities meet safety and construction standards.

• Manage the complete project lifecycle from intake through completion, including developing construction work plans that align with customer schedules and financial requirements.

• Serve as the primary liaison for customers, providing work clarification for construction personnel and seamlessly coordinating with internal engineering and operations teams.

• Obtain necessary permits and easements from city, state, federal, and county agencies, and execute contracts in compliance with regulatory and administrative guidelines.

• Conduct site visits and field inspections while professionally representing Our Client with government officials, vendors, contractors, and architects.
